Dr. Donnenfeld received his Medical Degree at Dartmouth Medical School and completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York Further, he attended a Fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at Wills Eye Hospital. He is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at New York University Medical Center and is Co-Chairman of Cornea and External Disease at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. He has served as Program Director at Cornell-North Shore University Hospital on Long Island and serves on the Editorial Board of five eye surgery journals and is the Surgical Director of the Lions Eye Bank for Long Island. He has served as President of the Nassau Surgical Society and he has served on the Board of Directors of the Nassau Academy of Medicine, the American College of Surgeons, Long Island Chapter, and the Nassau Surgical Society. He has been serving the medical, surgical and laser eye care needs of patients in the greater New York area for over 20 years.
